Hot water cylinder questions
My hot water cylinder is leaking. Is that normal?
A small drip from the pressure relief valve can be normal. Constant leaking is not. It can mean a failing valve, corrosion or a crack in the tank. Get it checked quickly to avoid water damage and wasted power.
How long does a hot water cylinder last?
Most cylinders start to wear out at around 12 years. If yours is older and giving trouble, a replacement usually makes more sense than another repair.
Can I replace my cylinder with a bigger one?
Yes. If you keep running out of hot water, we can fit a larger cylinder or suggest a system that suits how your household uses water.
